The location was perfect for what I needed. The room was clean upon arrival and the front staff was friendly at checkin and checkout. 24 hour check in was important to me. The king sized bed was very comfortable. Having a refrigerator and microwave in the room was nice. There is an awesome food truck right across the street that serves delicious food late night.

The location: It was close to the club I was DJing at, so that was nice. There was free on-site parking, so that was good too. And the staff was friendly, so I appreciated their customer service during my stay.

Eastside Lodge was easy to find, and was spotless. After a little initial confusion at check-in, the lovely gentleman at the desk directed us to our clean and comfortable rooms. The next morning at checkout, the very pleasant lady chatted with us, and reassured us that we could leave our car in the motel car park safely while we went off to explore Portland. The cleanliness of the rooms and the kind personalities of the lovely couple at check in and check out (I assume they are the owners) make this a super place to stay. Location is also great eg 20 mins walk to the Moda centre

Yes, it's older basic budget lodging, but it was very clean, owner at lobby desk gave amazing customer service, even handing me keys to check out two different rooms for my preference. We were worried if parking would overfill if out late and she mentioned option to go into lobby and they would help to have 3 or so cars that could park under portico at entrance. Rooms had refrigerator, (I think microwave) desk area, end table lights with plug-ins on base, bathroom sink had shelf below, all the things that make a room handy. Blankets super clean, bed and pillows comfy.

The owners have been running this hotel for 40 years. They treat it like their baby. We had a fantastic stay and are sad to leave. The neighborhood is super safe and walkable. No homeless people or open drug activities around the blocks, if you can believe it. :) It’s a huge bonus when you explore the interesting city with small children.

Convenient location, walking distance to old town, affordable price, nice staff, coffee in the morning, every day room cleaning service; on the check-out day, I was allowed to drop my backpack at the reception and get back for it long after the check-out hour, so that was nice.

The location was near to the city centre. The staff was really helpful. The room service came everyday. All the facilities were provided. Altogether, it was really a pleasant and nice place. Morning, coffee was provided.

Location was great for my plans during my stay. New restaurants and coffee shops since the last time I stayed in this area (not at this location). Definitely will use the lodge again when I am in this neighborhood.The bed was very comfortable.
